Yes. We offer an initial consultation to learn about your family’s needs and determine how Impact Home Care may be able to assist.

Start dates depend on the client’s needs, caregiver availability, location, and requested schedule. Our team will work with you to begin services as quickly as reasonably possible.

We work to match each client with a caregiver based on their care needs, personality, preferences, schedule, location, and other important considerations. Families are encouraged to provide feedback regarding caregiver compatibility.

Please contact our office. We want you to feel safe and comfortable with the person providing care in your home. We will discuss your concerns and determine whether a different caregiver match is appropriate.

Impact Home Care follows applicable hiring and screening requirements for caregivers. Our hiring process is designed to ensure caregivers meet agency and regulatory requirements before providing services.

We make every reasonable effort to provide consistency because we understand the importance of building trust between clients and caregivers. However, substitute caregivers may occasionally be necessary due to illness, emergencies, vacations, call-outs, or scheduling changes.

Our office will make reasonable efforts to locate a qualified replacement caregiver. We will communicate with the client or authorized family representative regarding coverage and any scheduling changes.

Yes. We understand that care needs can change. Please contact our office if you need to increase, decrease, or modify your schedule. Changes are subject to caregiver availability and the terms of your service agreement.

Transportation assistance may be available for approved clients and can include transportation to medical appointments, physical therapy, grocery shopping, errands, and other approved activities. Transportation arrangements must be included in the client’s care plan and service agreement.

Yes. Caregivers may provide medication reminders when permitted within the scope of non-medical home care. Our caregivers do not independently prescribe medications or perform services outside their authorized scope.

Impact Home Care is a non-medical home care agency. We do not represent non-medical caregivers as nurses or other licensed medical professionals. If a client requires skilled medical services, we can encourage the family to speak with the client’s healthcare provider regarding the appropriate level of care.

Extended-hour, overnight, and other customized schedules may be available depending on the client’s needs, caregiver availability, and applicable requirements. Contact our office to discuss your specific situation.

Absolutely. With the client’s permission, we encourage family involvement. Good communication between the client, family, caregiver, and agency helps us provide consistent and personalized care.

Each client has an individualized care plan outlining approved services, routines, preferences, safety considerations, and other relevant instructions. Caregivers are expected to follow the client’s care plan while providing services.

Please notify Impact Home Care as soon as possible. We may review the care plan and determine whether services, hours, or other arrangements should be updated. Medical concerns should also be reported to the appropriate healthcare professional.

For a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. After emergency assistance has been contacted, please notify Impact Home Care as appropriate so we can document the situation and assist with care coordination.

Payment arrangements are discussed before services begin and are outlined in the client’s service agreement. Private-pay clients should contact our office with questions regarding rates, invoices, payment schedules, or accepted payment methods.

Your billing schedule will be explained during enrollment and documented in your service agreement. Please contact our office if you have questions about an invoice or payment.

Yes. Impact Home Care takes client privacy seriously. Client information is maintained and shared in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and agency policies.

We encourage clients and families to contact us directly with any concerns. Complaints are taken seriously and will be reviewed according to our agency’s complaint and grievance procedures. Raising a concern will not result in retaliation or discrimination.

Depending on the circumstances, services may be placed on hold for hospitalization, rehabilitation, travel, or other temporary situations. Please contact our office as soon as possible so appropriate arrangements can be made.

Cancellation and termination requirements are outlined in your service agreement. Please contact our office if you need to discontinue services so we can assist with the transition.
